Overview
This 6 Day Ladakh tour offers a perfect blend of cultural discovery and breathtaking landscapes. The journey begins with your arrival in Leh, allowing time to acclimatize and enjoy serene views from Shanti Stupa. The second day is dedicated to exploring the region’s spiritual and royal heritage with visits to Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, Hemis Monastery, and Leh Palace. Next, travel through the iconic Khardung La Pass to reach Nubra Valley, where you’ll experience the unique Hunder sand dunes and Diskit Monastery. Continue your adventure to the mesmerizing Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route, spending a magical night by the lake. The return to Leh takes you through Chang La Pass, with stops at Druk White Lotus School and Sindhu Ghat. The tour concludes with a heartfelt farewell as you depart from Leh, carrying memories of Ladakh’s majestic beauty and rich culture.

Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Leh
You will arrive at Leh Airport, where a representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. The day is reserved for rest and acclimatization to the high altitude, allowing your body to adjust comfortably. In the evening, you can visit the Shanti Stupa, which offers panoramic views of Leh, providing a serene and beautiful introduction to this mountain town. You will spend the night in Leh.
Day 2 : Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will embark on a cultural exploration of Leh, starting with a visit to Thiksey Monastery, a stunning monastery that resembles Tibet’s Potala Palace. Next, you will visit Shey Palace, the historic royal residence of Ladakh’s kings, followed by Hemis Monastery, the richest and largest monastery in Ladakh. Later in the day, you can explore Leh Palace and browse the vibrant Leh Market for souvenirs. You will spend the night again in Leh.
Day 3 : Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
After breakfast, you will drive through the Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world at 18,380 feet, en route to Nubra Valley. Upon arrival, visit the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a camel safari on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels. Next, explore Diskit Monastery, famous for its impressive Maitreya Buddha statue. In the evening, relax at the campsite and spend the night in Nubra Valley.
Day 4 : Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok
You will drive from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route, covering around 160 km in 6 to 7 hours. Upon arrival, enjoy the breathtaking sunset by the shimmering blue waters of Pangong Lake, creating unforgettable memories. Spend a peaceful night at a lakeside camp, experiencing the beauty of the starry sky. Overnight stay will be at Pangong.
Day 5 : Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La
After breakfast, you will return to Leh from Pangong Lake, traveling approximately 160 km over 6 to 7 hours via the Chang La Pass, which stands at 17,590 feet. Along the way, you will visit the Druk White Lotus School, famously featured in the movie "3 Idiots," and Sindhu Ghat, a serene riverside spot. In the evening, enjoy your final time in Leh by exploring the local markets. Overnight stay will be in Leh.
Day 6 : Departure from Leh
After enjoying a final breakfast at your hotel, you will complete the check-out formalities and prepare for your departure from Leh. Our representative will assist you with your transfer to Leh Airport, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. As you board your flight, you’ll carry with you the memories of the breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and serene moments experienced throughout your Ladakh trip. This marks the conclusion of an unforgettable adventure filled with stunning mountain passes, peaceful monasteries, unique local traditions, and awe-inspiring natural beauty.
